Mr. Adams has provided counsel to clients on various aspects of intellectual property law, particularly those pertaining to the procurement, evaluation and enforcement of patents. In particular, Mr. Adams has extensive experience managing large and complex patent portfolios of clients, as well as monitoring those of competitors. His fields of expertise include electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, computer and software related technologies.
Mr. Adams' professional work experience includes over ten years of experience in the field of intellectual property law, as well as engineering experience within various areas of Delphi Corporation.
Mr. Adams received a degree in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Wayne State University Law School. He is a member of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Patent and Trademark office.
