The 7th Edition of the U.S. law school textbook entitled Cases and Materials on Patent Law Including Trade Secrets authored by Reising attorneys William H. Francis, James D. Stevens, Matthew J. Schmidt, and Rick W. Hoffmann has been published by West Publishing Co. This edition of the casebook includes over 400 pages of new material relating to the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA), covering the new novelty provisions and post grant proceedings, as well as the new federal Defend Trade Secrets Act and dozens of significant Supreme Court and other precedential judicial opinions, all of which have had a tremendous impact on U.S. intellectual property law.
