Shannon Smith began doing pro bono work for the American Red Cross as a caseworker for the Restoring Family Links Program with the International Services department. The Restoring Family Links Program helps clients who have been separated from family members in other countries due to armed conflict, migration, disasters, and other humanitarian emergencies.
