In June, Rick Hoffmann, Bill Francis, and Matt Schmidt filed a complaint in the International Trade Commission for unfair practices in import trade that seeks to institute an investigation against thirty five companies involved in manufacturing, importing, or selling products that use carburetors from seven different carburetor manufacturers. The suit alleges that the companies infringe five different patents of Reising’s client.
