In the March/April 2014 issue of Dbusiness Magazine, an article lists the 35 greatest inventions from Michigan, naming 31 different inventors and companies. Reising Ethington has worked with five of the 31 inventors, including Elijah (“The Real McCoy”) McCoy, Charles Brady King, Ransom E. Olds, David Dunbar Buick, and Henry Ford. For example in 1896, Reising Ethington wrote the patent for the Quadricycle for inventor Charles Brady King. Reising Ethington also drafted numerous other patents for these 31 entities, including the motor carriage for inventor Ransom E. Olds, the carburetor for David Dunbar Buick, as well as the lubricator for Elijah McCoy.
