Rick Hoffmann and Colleen Shovlin successfully defended the firm’s client, Lipari Foods, in a trademark opposition filed by Premio Foods, Inc. The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board issued a unanimous decision dismissing sausage manufacturer Premio’s opposition to the registration of Lipari’s PREMO mark for packaged deli sandwiches and other foods items. Premio was represented by a well-known general practice law firm with offices in Washington, DC.
