Steven Permut has obtained a dozen favorable decisions with the National Arbitration Forum through UDRP

Steven Permut has obtained a dozen favorable decisions with the National Arbitration Forum through the Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy (UDRP) for one of our clients in healthcare. Steve has helped our client protect one of its most valuable assets—its brand name. Twenty domain names that were previously held by internet pirates have been transferred to this client. In case after case, Steve was successful in showing that the internet pirates: 1) intended to use a domain name that is a confusingly similar variation of your name or trademark; 2) have no rights or legitimate interests to the domain name; and 3) have registered and are using the domain name in bad faith. UDRPs are a quick and decisive procedure to force pirates and squatters to transfer ownership of confusingly similar domain names to its rightful owners.
