William F. Kolakowski recently worked with Brazilian counsel to secure confirmation from the Federal Court of Appeals in Brazil of a trial court decision finding that our client’s trademark rights had been infringed. The Brazilian courts delivered a comprehensive victory for our client issuing a decision enjoining the infringer from further use of our client’s trademark, cancelling the infringer’s own registration for the same trademark, and ordering the infringer to change its name.
