Shannon Smith is coaching the University of Detroit Mercy team in this year’s National Patent
Application Drafting Competition put on by the US Patent and Trademark Office. Shannon
has previously taken two teams to the national finals hosted at the USPTO headquarters in
Alexandria, VA.
