Two U.S. design patents prepared by Corey Beaubien for a Detroit-based automaker were recently upheld as not invalid by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). The design patents were challenged in a dispute with one of the world’s largest automotive replacement parts maker.
