As a Vice President of MIPLA, Shannon Smith planned

As a Vice President of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA), Shannon
Smith planned and coordinated this year’s Judges’ Banquet and Golf Outing at Wabeek
Country Club, hosting a number of federal judges from the Eastern District of Michigan and a
large number of IP professionals from the metro-Detroit area. Shannon won Women’s Closest to
the Pin, and Austin Miller won both Men’s Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Mike Adams,
Corey Beaubien, Colin Cicotte, Rick Hoffmann, Blake Schmidt, James Stevens Jr., and
Steve Walmsley also attended the event.
