Diversity Initiative – Helping Our Clients Promote Women Inventors

Diversity Initiative—Helping Our Clients Promote Women Inventors

In recognition of the 40th anniversary of Women’s History Month, Reising has developed a new initiative to help promote women in intellectual property.¬† For the month of March, we are offering our clients a 40% reduction in attorney fees for new US provisional or non-provisional application filings received in the month of March that have one or more women inventors.

A recent study issued by the USPTO (see here) found that the number of women entering and staying active in the patent system is at an all-time high, and we hope to help our clients keep this trend going.

Internally, over the past several years, we have helped promote women by expanding parental leave policies for staff and associates.  In 2020, we expanded parental leave to cover senior shareholder positions, which is much less common in firms, as a way to help promote women leaders and ownership.  Recently, we also developed a new attorney position to provide more flexible schedules and options for those who need it.

If you have any questions regarding Reising’s March initiative to promote women inventors, please contact the attorney in charge of your matters or info@reising.com.
